Concept: The most wonderful part of any park is your interaction with it.

To the naked eye, the Augmented Reality print ads show traditional park activities. But when placed in front of a webcam or camera-phone, AR technology reveals a less expected and more exciting activity. These will be placed in outdoor lifestyle magazines and public transit stations near parks.

Geo-tagging app: Uses a GPS smartphone to instantly mark favorite trails, tag any landmark or photo, and show others a real-time status of where you are in the park.  The app also features a virtual park ranger to point out facts and history relevant to your location in the park.

Microsoft Photosynth: Within the NPS website, this is a feature that brings together infinite user-generated photos to create a virtual tour of the park that grows with each new upload.
